My right turn signal blinks fast. I went to auto parts store and they sold me a fuse looking thing but I do not know where it goes. I have a96 Olds Acheiva. I looked at the fuse panel but all those are normal fuses. there is a fuse box under the hood by the battery and those looked likes the same size but could not make out where it goes if it truely goes there.

You don't need a fuse. Turn on the blinkers get out of the car and see which one does not work. Replace the bulb and clean the bulb socket out. If the fuse was blown you would have no turn signals. If you replace the bulb and still have the problem you need to check the grounds.

If you turn signal is blinking really fast, then it's not a fuse that's your problem. The flasher (which makes it blink) could be going out, and that's what I suspect too. You can go back to the auto parts store and ask them where it goes, and if someone in there is really nice they'll show you, or even take out the old one and replace it with the new one. The flasher should be located under the dashboard, most probably in a fuse or electrical panel. Best of luck to you......

If it's your blinker, then look in the trunk and detach the blinker light covers. You may find the fuse recepticle there. I know that's where I had to go to change the fuse for my blinker in my 89 T-bird.

Go to your nearest Auto Zone or the store you bought the fuse from and ask one of the sales associates where it goes? If you are too embarrassed ask a girl you know to do it. Most mechanics, my father being one, will go out of their way to help a young lady in distress.

In my past experience this means a blinker is burnt out. Check all blinkers and replace the necessary bulb. Can be purchased at an auto parts store.
