Easy - I've seen a dog with both back legs missing and with a couple of wheel strapped on, it managed fine.
So in the case of a giraffe a similar trick could be performed.
Now David Attenborough is looking at retirement one of his old Land Rovers could be used to prop the giraffes ar$e up and I'm sure David wouldn't mind sharing the driving with a few volunteers.
Also if it happened to be a front leg the giraffe could be taught to drive itself as long as it old enough and had passed his test

you're excellent, some species are extra constructive able to evolve to instruct injuries than others. lack of a leg in a canines or cat should be dealt with by the animal, considering they're extremely versatile and agile. A creature like a giraffe or bison ought to in all likelihood be a goner in the experience that they lost a leg. Even a bipedal species, like people, can adapt to the shortcoming of a leg fairly nicely (even without prosthetics or crutches), yet something like an ostrich does no longer trustworthy so nicely. lots ought to count upon how precisely the animal strikes, how adaptable its locomotion is (i.e. can it hop if it needs to, like a human?), or maybe if it needs to flow to seize prey, or if it needs to flow to maintain away from being prey. A predator that loses a leg can likely change to a lot less complicated to seize prey like insects or carrion, yet a prey animal that loses a leg is lunch.

id assume that if a girraffe lost a front leg and fell it would not be able to get back up and without help die.
if the girraffe lost a back leg it can still use the front legs for balance and the back leg for support, and would be able to get back up if it fell
