Get a light and put it under the porch all night, it will scare them away, they are nocturnal and it will throw off there inner clock, they will not want to be there anymore. You will have to get under there an clean up after they leave, because in the future the babies will want to go to there home nest if they still smell there mother scent.

Need to get a trap called 'Have a heart'' set the trap with dry cat food near the porch the night before check first thing in the morn.Guaranteed you will have one in your trap. Then take it far away from your house like the woods, river, stream or maybe your EXES HOUSE IT won't hurt the possums I don't know how the EX.will feel.It worked for me.I caught a lot of possums that way not Exes.

NON Lethal:
Buy a havaheart trap at the local sporting good store and take them outside of town about 30 miles near some woulds and let them go.

You can call Critter Control..

I prefer Lethal with Pests:
I have have spray paint the back of an another I did the non-lethal way and dumped him about 30 miles outside of town, with a week she was back.
My preferred method of possum control is a pellet gun or 22 pistol to the head. Possum can carry rabies, and the fact they exist within the proximately of human habitation makes them dangerous to pets.

my grandparents had a family of skunks living under their shed when i was young. They put a portable radio in the shed and turned the volume up 24/7 until the animals got annoyed and left.

Hopefully you're not in too urban of an area and you could try the same thing. Just put the radio underneth the porch and see if that gets them to leave... should only take a few days.

if they have taken up residence there you will need to either trap them in a hav-a-heart trap and remove them , i don't know what state your in but if you call animal control in allot of states they "must" destroy the animal as it is not allowed to relocate an animal in those states...because of territory and other factors it can be bad to relocate certain animals anyhow---i have had some success with throwing a bunch of moth balls into the area they are living in, if you ever breathed in moth balls you can understand why.......blanco

Animal control can trap them and release them in a safe place. Give them a call.

Call your local humane society for live traps, they will come out, set them. And return later to see if any are captured.
