I would stay home like they wanted me to!!All it will do is get you into trouble if you go.

My daughter had a chance to go to a party after school one day. She asked me if she could go and I told her no. She got upset with me about not letting her go.

Later the next day, she came to me and thanked me for not letting her go and told me she was sorry for getting upset over it.

What ended up happening was, there was some kids that showed up with drugs, some of those kids took the drugs. There was a raid at the party, the kids went to jail, 3 of the kids ended up in the hospital with drug overdose, which 2 of those died that day.

And don't ever say it won't happen to you, cause my own nephew said that it would never happen to him and he did almost overdose.

So if mom and or dad don't want you to go to the party, respect their wishes and don't go.

Why won't they let you go? Is it too expensive? Do they not trust you? Do they think it's too dangerous?

Ask your parents why they won't let you go. If it's money, you might offer to do chores for pay for relatives or neighbors. If they think it's dangerous, have them talk to the principal or a teacher about how school parties usually go. If they don't trust you, or if you're being punished, you may have to let this particular party go, and demonstrate to them with honest, responsible behavior that you can be trusted to go to future school parties.
