During the first trimester it is normal to have some "PMS" pains. The baby is actually settling and you will have some slight discomfort. But to be on the safe side you really need to contact your doctor.

Best of luck!! ~

Cramps, pain and sickness are all normal. Your uterus has to expand and that causes pain. However, if the pain is unbearable, you are bleeding or running fever, see your doctor or go to an emergency room right away. Some spotting is normal but a heavy flow could mean a miscarriage. But most likely everything is normal.

NO! I just had my second baby. I'm 23, I had my 1st when I was 18. Are you a person of small stature? It might be the ligaments and tendons that hold your uterus up stretching to support the fetus. Definitely make sure that you tell your OB/GYN what is going on. They'll more than likely do bloodwork as well as an ultrasound to rule out any abnormalities.

Cramping and nausea are normal. I had alot of cramping with my second child. It may just be nausea that is causing the cramping. Try eating some saltines or something similar...the dry bland foods seem to take the edge off of the nausea. If it gets unbearable get to the doctor.

I had some cramping in the early part of the first trimester. Painful but I never passed out. I would call the doctor just to see if he would want me to come in earlier.

Any bleeding? If so, you might be having a miscarriage. If so, you should go in right away.
