What do you think is better for a band name: The awakening, or The Mad Awakening?

Neither. Both sound weak. How about simply 'The Awake'. Much better. 'The Doors' were originally 'The Doors of Perception'...which was too deep and trying to be heavy. The shortened version is better. Same thing.

The Awakening... If you say the mad awakening. No one is going to take you seriously. They will be like, oh, they are like...2 year olds trying to sound cool by saying mad. You'll get more respect with "The Awakening"...
