Get a good CD for contract bridge (like Omar Sharif's) and learn how to play that game.

It's hard. You're defensive victories will come first, before bidding and winning slams. Once you get competent at it, though, it will provide its own further motivation for you.

Cornfields? Is there a creek or pond or lake nearby? Get up before dawn with the binoculars and go bird watching early each morning except in winter. Get to where you can identify all the birds in all seasons and know their calls. The birds will show you why life is never boring.

Does your PC have a CD rom and a music program such as windows media player? What about getting to know "classical jazz" and the romantic symphonies of Dvorjak, Tchaivovsky, Rimsky-Korsakoff, Rachmaninoff and others? When you can identify any of the major romantic works of music within 3 seconds, email us at Yahoo Answers again about how bored you are.

Grandslam homerun: get a 60-hole, two-knob wooden labyrinth with stainless stell spherical balls. Get to where you can go all the way through and all the way back from the labyrinth without error (that's a score of 120) while listening to classical music or classic jazz. When you can do the labyrinth and music appreciation simultaneously, you can MEDITATE as well as the Dahlia Lama and boredom will never visit you again.

I would stand in the middle of a row (so I'm back to a row of corn) and fall back. The corn will literally lay you down. It's pretty cool. I used to do that a lot in my friends corn field. Plus, eventually you would clear a path to a road or field.
