No, but if he's sucking on it WHILE baby is trying to nurse, he'll probably be in the way.
Seriously, though, you should do a test. Find several pregnant women and put them in three groups. Group one, have no one touch the breasts during pregnancy. Group two, have the husband suck on the breast regularly (a tough job, but someone's gotta do it). Group three, have some random guy come in and suck on the breasts for 15 minutes per day (just to see if there's anything special about Daddy sucking on the breast).
After it's over with, count up how many of the people in the third group are still married to each other.
Mmmmmm. Boobs.

NOT true. While you are pregnant (and more after the baby is born), you will get so much unsolicited advice and hear many many many old wive's tales. Simply nod your head and say, Really? Then go to a reliable source like your OB-GYN, Pediatrician, Parent Magazine or reputable website.

Just remember, if you're way past your delivery date, or having a rough time during labor, it is said that having your husband play with/suckle your nipples, your labor goes more smoothly, and quickly. But I'd double check that out..

WHO EVER TOLD YOU THAT PROBABLY BELIEVES YOU CAN GET PREGNANT FROM SWEATY PALMS. NO IT ACTUALLY HELPS TOUGHEN UP YOUR BOOBIES. SO WHEN THE BABY IS TO NURSE IT DOESNT HURT SO MUCH. THE CLOSER YOU GET TO YOUR DUE DATE IT ALSO MIGHT BRING ON CONTRACTIONS. LET DAD PLAY. IT WILL MAKE IT EASIER FOR YOU IN THE END.

Totally not true. My husband is a breast man and I never had any trouble with my babies nursing.

No that is not true at all. The only that might happen is that you might develope milk in your breast a little sooner than normal.

Keep telling your husband this if your nipple are too tender and you don't feel like him mauling you all the time. Convince him that if he doesn't leave you alone your child will starve to death and it will be all his fault!
