It is better to regret something you have done than regret something you haven't

I regret a lot of what I have done, I have done some stupid things, wow. Regret something I haven't? I can't think of many things I haven't done. Name some and I'll answer that bit. How can I regret something that hasn't happened. A missed oportunity, I am happy so regret for what might have been seems pretty impossible

I would much rather regret something I have done. I can always try to make amends for something I did in the past. I can not go back and do something that I didn't do.

Wow, that's a good question! I think I tend to regret more things that I've done than what I think I *should* have done, but I think the opposite would be healthier. Sometimes you get the chance to correct a missed opportunity at a later date. Either way, it's not good to feel guilty forever about something that's past. It's better to simply repent, and do better next time.

Something I haven't done. You can never take back something you've done. I think there are a lot more consequences to those regrets we have done in our lives. Live and learn.. true both ways.

I would rather regret something I haven't done cause if you have done something you regret...you can't take it back, it's done. I would rather live wondering what I missed then live with regret of something I have done.

I would rather regret something I've done. Mistakes can be learning experiences that force you to grow and change. But it would be horrible to be 85 and looking at all the things I could have done but was too afraid or too lazy. That would be horrible and would mean that I hadn't lived up to my potential or lived life fully. That would be a travesty.

I would rather regret something I haven't done. It is hard to forgive one's self for things done.

I would rather regret something that I haven't done. Because once you have done it, you cannot take it back...and trust me I should now regretting things I have done is one of my specialties.

Something I haven't done. There may be a way to do something I haven't done later in life but there is no way to take back an action.
