Halloween is my all time favorite holiday! (too bad i married a christmas person! hahahahaha!) I would love to help you by coming up with some ideas for a costume but I don't have enough information to go on. I would need to know the body size and style for each of you, your ages and some things that you both enjoy. If you would like my help please feel free to contact me. I answer a lot of questions on here so mention which one it is concerning. Take care and I hope you have an amazing day!

I LOVE Halloween! I do monster makeup as a hobby, so I usually start planning this early, too. It always makes me smile to see others who enjoy it as much as I do. For a couple costume, it really depends on if you want to be sexy, or goofy, or a little of both. I've found that as long as the girl is at least moderately comfortable with her sexuality, a little of both works for the widest positive reaction from others at a party. Some suggestions would be:
You could be a sexy version of Little Red Riding Hood, and he could be the Big Bad Wolf in a granny nightgown and bonnet (complete with tail and ears sticking out of the costume);
You could be a ghost couple. This works with any matching costumes from a period of history (civil war, victorian, middle ages, etc). Make the costumes ratty and torn looking, and dye them in shades of gray and white. Wear white and gray ghost makeup and gloves.
A Zombie couple would be like the ghost couple, but rub fake dirt on the clothes instead of dying them white, and use a makeup kit to make your faces look decayed instead of ghostly. A company called Woochie (a subsidiary of Cinema Secrets) makes a pretty good zombie makeup kit. The Zombie effect would work with matching modern costumes, as well (for example, a zombie football player and cheerleader).
There's the traditional Vampire couple, but it's been done so many times that unless you have a new hook, it won't get much attention. I can give you instructions on how to make very realistic looking vampire bite marks on your neck, a cross shaped burn scar on your boyfriend's head, and how to make it look like a real wooden stake is sticking out of his chest. He can be the vampire you are slaying, and you can be Buffy.
This next one is more elaborate, but if done right, it looks great. You could go as a cannibal native girl, and he could be the explorer you're cooking. Get a very large black plastic cauldron from a store that sells Halloween decorations. Cut leg holes out of the bottom out of it, and attach suspenders to the top. He wears a safari hat and shirt, and black pants with flames painted on them. String orange, red and yellow glow sticks to the pants, and have him wear the cauldron over the pants. The effect in a dark room is that he's sitting in a cauldron over a fire. You wear a grass skirt and a coconut bra, and wear bones in your hair, bone jewelry, etc.
I hope some of these ideas help to inspire your creativity and your Halloween spirit!

Definitely start planning now, so you can get it ready! Especially if you're going with a couples costume thing - you want to be sure you have it together so ya'll look great. I think a cool couples outfit would be doctor/nurse - you could do it either way, too - nobody said he HAS to be the doctor! & it would be fairly easy to pull together all the parts, too. Have fun with it & enjoy!!

The summer's half over so Hallyween is near.I always think of costumes-all year round.Good costumes take some planning.I like ballerina,Arab sheik,and Hooker(prostitute) costumes.Even Bag lady costumes.I don't think it's to early to prospect for costumes.Plan now so you won't have to worry and rush when the time comes.

I luff Halloween, and some of my favorite costumes are things from movies, especially when they're well done. I would suggest Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein if you were looking for something classic, or for something newer... I dunno. I did see an awesome one once, it was Edward Scissorhands and Kim, done completely to the hilt and perfectly, but that one might be hard. An eighties-era football player (cut-off jersey, of course) and his skanky cheerleader girlfriend would be fun, as would a prince and princess. The possibilities are endless ;D
