Have you talked to your kid about whatever you need to find out before diving into their e-mail? Do that before risking destroying all trust they have in you. If you have to do it, go online and search for "keylogger."

If you don't know your childs password, what kind of parent are you?? How young is the child? My daughter is NOT allowed to change her password. If it is a yahoo mail account and they didn't lie about their age, then you should have full access. If they lied about their age, then you will need to install a keylogger on their machine and then when they log in, it will record their password.

In this day and age, internet predators rome the net looking for naive kids. There is a program that you can install on the computer with your kid's knowledge that will copy everything he does. Check out my site and use my search to fine various "baby sitter" programs, some are free. Go to:

you grab the little s.o.b by the scruff of the neck make him log on then kick his scrawny *** out of the room while you see what he's been up to. Then learn how to place parental controls on the computer. put it in the living room or kitchen so he can't sit there with his pants down!

if your a parent, there are numerous programs you can get that will log a childs activity on the computer, including keystrokes, which you can use to find their passwords.

Reading other people's emails without their permission is not cool, even if it is your own kid. If they found out they would loose their trust in you. If you think something is wrong then you should ask them.

You can't, and that's a horrible thing to do. You should trust your kids unless they give you a good reason not to.
