I have no reason to think I might miscarry, but I'm trying to hold back on any planning until after my first trimester. Is this normal or silly?

It is normal, especially if you're a first time mum, or have suffered a previous miscarriage. Don't worry. Another contributing factor to your anxiety might be due to the hormonal changes in your body as a result of pregnancy, which can affect emotions and moods.
Different women react in different fashions to pregnancy, but once your pregnancy is more established and stable, you'll soon begin to feel the nesting instinct setting in.
So try not to worry so much about the planning right now. Take good care of yourself, focus on your own needs and well-being, spend enough quality time with your partner and with yourself, and enjoy the pregnancy as it goes along.
Congratulations!

Anxiety during the whole 9 mths is regular, all you need to do is just sit back, pop in amovie, and relax. That is the best thing for you. Congrats.

Hell yes it's normal to have anxiety! It's normal, and you are not being silly. Just try to relax.
