When can I expect my next ultrasound? My next appt. is at 16 weeks next week! I hope they do one then, I love seeing it!!! Thanks first baby!!

I am 15 weeks along with my first child and my next appointment is tomorrow. My nurse/midwife told me that we would be doing one at my 23 week appointment and not before then. Most insurance companies don't cover getting an ultrasound until you're at least half way through your pregnancy.

I'm 11 weeks. I had my first OBGYN appt at 10 weeks and he did the first ultrasound then. He said my next one would be at 16 weeks.

it depends on your doctor i have only had 3 ultrasounds 8 weeks, 12 weeks, and 20 weeks im sure you can always request for an ultrasound to be giving whenever you like if you are on state insurance ex. medicaid that only covers 2 ultrasounds congrats!!

You should be getting your ultrasound at around 20 to 22 weeks. That is whan you can see the sex the best too. Ask your doctor at your next appointment when you will be getting it.

I am also 15 weeks ... and I will see my Dr next week, but I do not think we will have our ultrasound sooner than 17 or 18 week... by the way did you have blood test for down screen? I am going to have it tomorrow ... I am scare....

It is best if ultrasounds are done only if they have to be done. I know it is exciting to see life in your womb. It is special, but remember that ever time an ultrasound is done, there are magnetic waves being passed to your baby, which if frequently done can effect your baby. So be careful. You don't want your baby to be hurt.

Probaly in a about 5 more weeks to check how the baby is doing, it's status, and such. Congrats!

16 weeks sounds about right for one, Congrats on the baby i have two boys myself under three a hand ful but they are worth every min. good luck.

anytime- i am 15 weeks and am up for one next week--they think i am 20 weeks, having a big baby or twins.....i am excited to find out!! Good luck
