IBM t41 bluetooth mobile centrino 1.8 ghz 588 to 2 gb's of ram 32 or 64 MB video (get the nvidia pcmcia card for gaming, plu s mobile soundblaster ) On board nic modem built in wireless Pentium class processors . Dvd/CD-rw and the blue fix it button!
I have had 2 and now only have one and would not give it up. well not yet anyway

I'm researching also for a lap top I foud a Toshiba A105 between $600-$700 on line It has graphics,TV s cable and wireless ready.

Apple user friendly fast reliable good warenty great graphics and awesome customer service down fall they are expencive

I have not had experience with all manufacturers. but for excellent guarantees and telephone or on line chat service I have found HP excellent.

anything by HP is a good solid brand and reasonbly priced with good customer i have owned three hp computers and never had a problem with support

i have heard that sony vio is one of the best makers of laptops. as well as hp. i have also heard good things about dell.
