first i think u don't deserve to have a friend like her because friends are suppose to be supportive not hating on their best friend, nor their happiness. if u think the guy is worth it and if u have the heart to end the friendship do it because jealousy is not good. good luck

Tell her that she's your best friend and there's no way you're going to fall out over a boy. Ask her to come out with you and have fun - do stuff she likes to do and make a real day of it.

Someone below has suggested you should choose the guy. I've been there too and I did - please don't make my mistake, not if you care this much about her. Choose her. Make it work.

If she is that mad and angry and jealous, she is not a true friend at all. She should be very happy for you and want you to be happy too. If she can only think of herself, that is who she will end up with in the long run, herself alone!
Don't change the way that you treat her, but don't go out of your way to set yourself up for her to hurt you or ruin the begining of something you have wanted for awhile!

no boy is worth loosing a best friend. talk to her and how about you both just let this guy go. there will be more guys, right? YES! there will be!! :) even if you've liked this guy for a year...was he "the one"? NO GUY IS WORTH LOOSING A BEST FRIEND!!!!!

Sorry, but she's not your friend anymore - she's full of herself. What's more important to you, her friendship or a relationship with him? I've been there, and I chose him. She turned out to be a low class B who was using me anyway.

Set her on fire before she f-u-c-ks you over and takes your man...for real...
Women are CADDY and aren't ment to have relationships with other women..It would seem My best friend of 20 years screwed me over....and I'd known her for 20 years....funny how that works out...-shrugs-
Women are b-i-t-ches...and I REFUSE to be close to another female for that very reason...
