why do folks keep upgrading to new cell phones?

I think it happens a lot of the time because people see others around them with cooler phones than what they have, so they feel inferior and upgrade to try to compete. I've had the same phone forever because I don't give a damn.

Because after you drop your cell a few times it doesn't work anymore.
