Why do people get jealous about things that happened before they are even in the picture?
When you start dating someone, everything is peachy. Next thing you know, 6 months down the road, in a moment of honesty, you admit something about your past. Then all of the sudden trust is no longer an option. My opinion is the past is the past, and it doesn't effect the future unless you let it.

Don't get the wrong impression, these things that surfaced weren't really all that bad. I just felt they weren't things that needed to be told because they don't effect me and how I am. And accusing me of cheating when in fact I never have just baffles me.

Usually those people are not healthy mentally. They are insecure and find anything and everything a threat to their present relationship. It isn't about you, or your relationship together....ITS ALL ABOUT THEM!!!...or so they think. Nip this in the bud now. If they don't get it then you better tread lightly. No telling what you will be accused of in the future because you shared your past.

Tell you what.. Its better to reveal your past the minute you feel the relationship is going some where... only because even though the past is behind us .. some times.. usually when in love the past can trigger anger or jealousy becasue it means you were part of some one else's life before.. as common as it may be.. some poeple are just possesive that way...
All you can do now is apologize for not mentioning it earlier and and with time it will be okay... Good Luck

Because you should have revealed your ways in the beginning now his hopes and perception of you are crushed by images of his pure and sacred relationship tarnished by the worst concauction his imagination can ponder up.
