Something that you will gain something from: knowledge, skills, ect. A job that won't just be sitting around? Maybe Volunteer work? Please be specific and maybe tell me how to find something like this job if it is uncommon. I live in the suburbs, too far away from the city to work there. If you are suggesting some sort of an internship, how can you get one without being involved in one of the courses in that field? Thanks!

You could try bartending/waiting tables. There is a bartending course taught on college campuses by "On the Rocks" School of Bartending, which will certify you. It is taken over a weekend at a campus. I believe that the classes are mainly in New England area. You can check online at craigslist.org. That is where I found the listing. Hope this helps you.

The Libraries in our community have volunteers that come in and do all sorts of things, if I had the time that is what I would do.
