all i did, was i cut a little slit in the nipple of a regular bottle, my daughter ate from it fine, it's hard to find cereal bottles b/c a lot of doctors anymore and parenting books are saying that the baby has to eat cereal from a spoon, but that's not true, try a regular bottle first, it will work just as well and be less expensive, but if ur not happy with that, than try looking at some online baby sites or something.

A good option is to buy Enfamil AR instead of adding rice to the bottle. It will pass through a regular nipple just fine. Also the formula already has the rice in it so you don't have to mix any. The formula is completely liquid when the baby drinks it and the rice makes the formula thicken when it hits the stomach leaving the baby fuller. This also helps with babies who spit up a lot or have acid reflux.

Do you mean rice baby cereal? You can do that, but if the babies atleast 3 mos. you can try it with a baby spoon. Just a little mixed with formula works pretty good. They make a mess at first, but it all ends up okay.
I tried putting cereal in my babies bottle too,but I found that I either got it too thick and it clogged the nipple or too runny and it choked him.I couldn't find those nipples either, but if you take a sewing needle and open the hole up on a regular nipple just a little bit(keep trying with the milk/cereal mix inside the bottle)until you get ot the right size. That's what I did.
You also might want to try juice nipples. They are supposed to be bigger.

NEVER EVER PUT RICE IN BOTTLES
1. It is interesting to note that children who begin solid foods with rice cereal in their bottles don't learn the instinct of stopping when they are full. This is because deceptively large amounts of calories come in without much increase in volume. As a result, kids that are fed rice cereal in a bottle tend to have excessive weight gain, both as infants and later in life. Other than that, children are very good at regulating their own intake. By starting with a spoon, resting between bites, and stopping when your child is full, you will be laying an excellent foundation for good eating habits throughout his life.
2. number of children did not tolerate this well, because their sucking and swallowing actions were not yet fully co-ordinated. As a result, many infants aspirated the rice cereal into their lungs which led to pulmonary problems.
3.Scientists at the Cleveland Clinic studied the effect of cereal on sleep and found that adding the cereal did nothing at all to speed up the age of sleeping through the night. That first uninterrupted 6-hour stretch of sleep came no earlier in those who took cereal early.2

There is actually a bottle set, I beleive it is called a feeder set, that you can find at Walmart. It is specially made for feeding cereal in a bottle. It comes with an attatchment that has a spoon on it too. When I started feeding my little one cereal I used it and it worked okay, but I think if the baby is old enough to start eating cereal then starting him/her with a spoon is probably best, it gets them used to using a spoon so when the other solids are introduced then he/she will know how to use a spoon. Good luck.

putting rice cereal in a babys bottle will make him/her think the meal is in the bottle and will not want to take it from the spoon. also i've noticed it makes the babys lazy...
if you want to give rice cereal make it really watery and serve on a spoon. the baby will learn to accept and love it. my daughter was eating rice cereal from the spoon at 2 weeks of age. i never ONCE put it in her bottle becuase its not recomended. doctors in NJ say to not do that atleast.

What kind of doctor told you this? The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends not starting solids until 4 to 6 months and then only by spoon.
