Chronic fatigue is an immunological – neurological disorder, known also as CFIDS and is a complex disease involving multi – system disturbances and abnormalities.
This unexplained feeling of fatigue (that lasts for 6 months or so) which is not relieved by rest. As the exact cause of chronic fatigue syndrome is not known, also the hereditary reasons aren’t. Testing has found that people with chronic fatigue syndrome have abnormalities in the brain and in the part of the nervous system called the autonomic nervous system, which controls blood pressure, body temperature and other vital body functions. For example, many patients with chronic fatigue syndrome have a condition called neurally mediated hypotension that causes abnormally low blood pressure. Finally, testing has revealed evidence that the immune system remains activated for long periods of time in people with chronic fatigue syndrome. All of these abnormalities seem to come and go. They are not permanent conditions and I can't confirm if they are hereditary or not.

For the moron that said Chronic Fatigue is not a real disease and you are just being lazy....shame on you.....you are wrong and not at all informed or educated. It is a real disease and can be prooven if you have it ,with a real blood test called a hetrophile blood panel test. The treatment is not very good, not much really and genetics are yet to be known to play a role. Many many people go un-diagnosed or mis-diagonosed. Look on My Web MD for those who are uneducated.

uh huh it could be. but your environment and lifestyle play a huge part in it. try to eat foods that boost your energy. i find working out often makes you more energetic. but yea the main thing is to eat properly and make sure your getting all your vitamins and minerals. if there is anything that you are lacking it can contribute to fatigue.... especially IRON! so get your blood tested and if your low on anything get supplements. it should do the trick. also, an apple a day... i know its simple advice, but it works wonders. trust me.
