I've been a customer to J. Jill, a women's apparel store, and I just discovered on their website that [their mission] "is to build J. Jill into a premier national brand for women age 35 and older." Oops! Of course, not all of their designs suit me, but I can always find something I like. But after reading that "statement", I might feel a bit weird and self-conscious when I walk into their store again.

Has anyone had similar experience? Liking something that you're not "supposed" to like? :)

you can like whatever you want to like. I have to wear that kind of stuff because of my job, and I've gotten so used to dressing that way that it's pretty much how I dress all the time! Don't feel bad! Just make sure you're wearing something that you feel happy and comfortable wearing!
