it's an astringent.
it tones skin, soothes sun burn and rashes, helps remove make up and has many other purposes as well.

just look on the bottle and it will tell you some uses...it also may have a website to look at.

You have to read labels clearly, some are for skin care and some are for first-aid, just like mineral oil, some are taken orally and some are topical only (meaning to put on skin).

It's an astringent, so it helps dry out oily skin why sterilizing it. It will help to dry out pimples and oily patches on your skin. Usually, it's used like a toner, but it's all-natural.
