Good question! While I'm not a religious person I do study scripture in addition to several ancient texts of teachings. Jesus proclaimed that 'greater works than these you shall do'. We've all heard about the miracles he performed. He was also visited by the three magi at his birth...three magicians? There is no doubt in my mind that magic is possible but at the same time I think we'll grow to understand the laws behind it over time and it will no longer be considered magic. Years ago the concept of cell phones seemed magic.
The etheric web of the planet encompasses all within it and functions much like our nervous system in our bodies, transmitting messages and carrying information. Thus it is explainable how telepathy works when the channels of love are unimpeded. . . . 'In whom we live and move and have our being.'
Healing powers work irregardless of distance but depending on the patient and the cause of the disease process. Some people can be healed by energy, others probably not without working through some karmic issues first.
Overcoming the laws of gravity and the laws of space and time are possible IMO but not many have experienced them. Those who have are probably of an advanced nature and don't succumb to glamour and showing off.
Every day brings us closer to understanding the energies inherent within our universe. As we understand them we no longer term them as magic. The potential lies within each of us to heal, to teleport, to be telepathic receivers and transmitters and to be telekinitic. I think a safety net is in place to prevent us from using these abilities too much before we truly learn to love one another so that the abilities can't be used for harming others.
There can be evil usage of certain abilities but they are much more limited than those used in the name of compassion and love.
Didn't mean to write so much! Interesting question~ :-)

I do not believe in "magic". It is a blanket attribute for something (event/occurrence) the "current laws of science" cannot explain, or a person cannot understand. For example, a magnet may possess "magical" properties to a 2-year-old.
I believe that are powers/spirits/forces that can be harnessed, including the power of one's own mind over one's body. I believe in the existence of God, and also that man is spiritually-challenged.
Having said all that, I am a sceptic. In the face of an unexplained event/occurrence, I tend write it off as a staged event or the observations of a disturbed mind rather than a true "supernatural" event unless it is a firsthand experience.
If I had such a power, I would use it to improve the lives of those around me, but would not go public with it because our spiritually-challenged society would most certainly think it crazy.

I would be shocked then amazed. I would like to be able to experience using some of these powers (teleportation, mindreading). My family is quite spread out & this would be a way to stay in touch & alleviate the sense of missing my loved ones.
It would not affect my faith in a Higher Power. I would consider magic to be an "energy or dimension" of "power" the human race learned about. I would consider this new power a means to discover more about God.
I would only share my personal experiences with others if there were many others who had the same abilities. I think there is always someone/something to create chaos from a newly discovered power in order to fulfill selfish purposes.
I think magic would be used for evil purposes - not necessarily by evil people.

Well, first off, I'd probably be shocked. Really? Magic is... REAL? Then, I'd probably be very happy, excited, and intrigued. I'd learn EVERYTHING about magic and practice it, become better at it.
And by the end, you'll probably have some crazy power-craving freak wanna-be leader on your hands. You'll hunt me down and kill you after I make it known to everyone that I am all-knowing, powerful, and that I can make them just as powerful if they join me. Basically, I'd probably turn out like Voldermort from Harry Potter, except not evil. I'm not the evil kind of type. Just power hungry. hehe
Anyway, I think magic is real, I really believe it. I don't practice it or anything, but I know it's out there. I've also heard a lot about 'energy' and how you can use it like magic. I believe in aliens, monsters, ect., so please, send me to the psych ward now. ;)

Yes true Magic is a fact of life. That said I must make it clear out of 100 people who say they have powers less then one percent do.The people with the powers are not in Las Vegas or on second class cable networks.Example are Chi Masters and Yogis.who have studied for years. The great Franz Harary has been to Asia and saw real Magic. We are all Magic and God gave us powers we will never use.She gave us the tools but not the skill.Love is magic and that we are born with. She is the only one we can truly trust. If you can open your mind and heart, you have taken your first step to your own magic reality. Please do not think the people who think you are crazy are open to the truth. If 100 years ago you talked of computers and the Internet you would be called crazy.

I would feel the same as I do now. I do believe we have the ability to perform amazing feats. It's just a matter of knowing how, and believing in it. It wouldn't affect my perception of God, because it would be a gift of knowledge from God, I wouldn't tell others for fear of exploitation, simply use it if I absolutely knew I could do something for the greater good like save a life, and think it was a blessing not evil.

I do not fear magic, and yes I do believe it is real. God has given us the power to tap into something very powerful but most small minded people do not care and fear that which they do not know. It does not effect how I feel about God although I would not share this info with just anyone. I believe magic is the power of the human mind. If we can conquer that power, anything is possible.

I disagree, both players have great cases and both make different ones. It depends on what a person values most in a player. However, while both make great cases, Jordan was 6 for 6 with 6 Finals MVPs, and is hands down the G.O.A.T. in my book. He was the first wing player to ever be the dominant force of a dynasty (all others before him, centers were the dominant force, even if they had other good players). He won titles with just two (Pippen, Grant/Rodman) other decent players (Pippen was not just decent, but who is Steve Kerr without the pass from Jordan or, or BJ Armstrong without him). From the 1993 season to the 1994 season, they did just lose 2 more games, but in all 5 other championship, the Bulls won at least 61 games, and even 72 in one season. In the 1995 season, the Bulls were just 34-31 without Jordan before he returned. He led them to a 13-4 finish. So, if anything, this adds to his case as G.O.A.T., and doesn't take away from it in the least.

I dont think that my beliefs would change if I found someone in my family had magical powers like you say. I would actually try to see or find out if there was something evil around it. Besides that I believe that there are people that are capable of all that stuff and that doesnt worry me at all.

absolutely yes, but there is one "but" Perceptions of a result of magic called paradox, or miracle is highly confusing for viewers, creates actual a gap in perceptions, that is painful in a way. As natural and I believe not permanent protection, we developed certain block, which makes us unable to perceive miracles which happening all over. Miracles is all over just be able to perceive them is very famous slogan related to stated above. In truth a picture which we creating mentally of how magic should look like in general, and in its details, does not match which its occurrences in reality....there is no bridges would be build to connect expectations and happening. Those who perform that "miracles, actually operating, and existing in dimensions which is not of this 3D world, but appear to be in 3D. Devil? Nothing is devil unless mind make it so. Shortage of understanding , is a master to create all kind of fallen creatures. Our fear gives a reality to it. Very possibility of so-called magic always existed no matter what some crazy minds creating to.
