Ask here, someone will have one.
yes you can cut wires back about quarter inch so plug caps fit better.
Its more likely to be an idle system blockage in carb though

-Yes, you can trim the wire. Just make sure they're long enough after doing so. Cutting the wires won't change any resistance specs.
-Switch the condensors between the points to rule them out.
-Check the points for pitting (clean up with "flex stone") and adjust them and the timing. Check that the advancer moves freely (as long as you'er in there).
-Switch the coils around. Connect the 1/4 points to the 2/3 coil & vice versa to help diagnose for an electrical problem.
-If the bike runs but won't idel, remove the carbs and check the pilot jets.

In other words, the dichhead Edward is like a chick, nothing to say but still must say something.

Is that bike old enough for the spark plug wires to have cracked? Replacement may be the way to go.

Your spelling isn't nearly as bad as your English. No you don't want to trim the wire. I am not 100% sure what to tell you. I would take it to a mechanic.
