i dont think you can keep them from tangling in the washer unless you wash them one at a time. hang them on the line when done washing and they will be sure not to get tangled.

Doubling the quantity of cleansing soap wont help this too will shrink them Use a reliable high quality fabric conditioner Air dry in case you are able to outdoors if no longer placed the heating on interior the targeted visitor room Or open a window damp washing does scent slightly till its dry

Suppose to be some kind of a ball you put in with them to stop that, really don't know if it works!
