Since I turned 50, I decided to I am "doing something that terrifies me, so I don't turn into a blue-haired old lady afraid to leave her house." The first year, I sang Karaoke in front of friends and family. The next year, I tried out for a play, and got the lead. Next, I changed jobs and drove trucks cross-country. Then I moved to Oklahoma. Next, I rode a motorcycle after having an accident 35 years before. Next year? Hang-gliding!
I wish I had started doing this 40 years ago.

I have a really big family. All of my aunts, uncles, and cousins are really close. We always have get togethers for each other's birthdays. Usually at restaurants. There is never less than 25 of us. We try to call ahead if possible. Some places don't let you. Applebees does good. We all bring a gift for the person and they really rack up. We eat and socialize with each other.

The most wonderful thing that could ever happen to me on my birthday would definetely to receive a horse. I have loved horses as long as I or anyone in my family can remember, but my parents say a horse is too much money, what with my older brother going into college next year. I ride, though. n.n

My favorite thing to do is Mope, because it seems to be a terribly sad day for me every year. But I'd feel a little better if I could buy a few signature items from Neiman Marcus online, and go to the ballet and get something nice to eat in town.Indulge me.It's a bandaid on a wound.Makes me feel better. (oh,and happy, happy birthday!).

Common on Ladies! Who wouldn't want to go shopping? Spend some birthday money? Me...me...me.... Oh yes, I'd go in a heartbeat. Buy lots of stuff to make me feel good. That includes a haircut and lunch/dinner! BM

(If I could)
I would find a green soft hill to lay on and just draw under the sky all day... that's much better than what I really do on my birthday.
