Summersun's Sarcastic remark is just the kind or remark I should expect, appearently nobody does care, and that's the shame of it all. It's evident that's the ironic part then, this question is in a health and beauty where all people care about is superfical apperances. Corprate America has apparently successfully brainwashed you all.

While I find that White Girl Lover makes some excellent points, with some fantastic research; Micheal makes a very simple "to the point" answer.

Well Maximus Its like this. I ain't to intelligent and I don't know how to spell to good. when I was in school 30 years ago I coulden seem to understand what the heII the teacher was taking about so I made D's and F's and back then they diden have special ED. Just school. And now 30 years later you and idiots like you are biching about how i spell or my grammar. Ok let me ask you something Poindexter, Know it all. As dumb as you think i am for not spelling good I am an expert in one thing and that is working on cars I make almost $80'000 a year working on cars so do you think spelling would make me make more money working on cars or good grammar. NO because it you take you car to a shop do you ask if the man can spell or not, NO YOU DON'T because what hte heII has spelling got to do with working on your car........So see spelling and grammar ain't every thing. Now roll that up in a joint and smoke it KNOW IT ALL

Interesting... I just did a spell check on your post here and came up with four spelling errors. Your sentence structure could use some work too.

appearently should be apparently

superfical should be superficial

apperances should be appearances

Corprate should be Corporate

So take your own advice and "Go back to school for basic phonics and spelling skills."

I use spell check, I don't usually need it though. I think some people just don't want to take a long time, or admit that they spelled something wrong. They aren't necessarily stupid or anything (most of the time), some people just don't care, luckily, I do. I hope I don't come across as unintelligent.

You're making assumptions that they're educated and not dumb. From the number of "What's the answer to my homework? Please show all workings" and "I can't be bothered to use a search engine, so..." questions, I think you're being optimistic that they know how to use the spell checker. They probably think it's just a reminder. The first answer you received proves that your assumption about so many people is not necessarily that wide of the mark.

I use a dictionary when I want to sound intelligent. Most people want to get their point across and can't help it that they misspell words. Not everybody is good at spelling or english for that matter. Just give them a break. Nobody's perfect.

to quote your very first yahoo! answer:

"First of all, self esteem is something you can build by not letting others tear you down, if they do, don't accept it, don't listen to it, ignore it."

its funny how you talk about spelling, but you screw up grammar. notice the run on sentence where you use a comman instead of a period:

"....by not letting others tear you down, ...."

wrong. too bad there's no grammar check! but hey, it's easy to nitpick!

and then you go on to mispell "miss-use".. you over-compensated for the word by using a hyphen.

however, merriam-webster says:

http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/miss-use

as long as a person is able to cleary articulate what they are trying to say, a feww spellink mistakes never hurts anyone, except for hypocrAtes like urself.

Why don't you ask that in a different forum? This is Beauty where you talk about beauty stuff, not ***** about spelling.
