Easily best when they had a late night show on Radio 1 before Radio 1 tried to make them mainstream - Radcliffe has storming music taste and as for Lard, well, what can you expect from the ex bass player in the Fall - you've got to be funny to survive Mark E Smith for any period of time.....

Oh yes, in about '95 - '96 the 10 til 12 show mon to thurs was essential listening - great tunes all night and the humour was spot on. Pity they had to tone it down a bit when they went daytime. Definitely greatly missed, although Radcliffe's show on Radio 2 is a good listen, albeit not a patch on the old show without Riley.

Best bits:

The Shirehorses
Great moments in pop
Tony McCarroll's classical gas
Fat Harry White
Rabbi Lionel Blair (...just the other day)

Vague Answer - I remember when there was 2 blokes on that radio station at that time of day. That running sketch was good with the catchphrase. We'll never see the likes of those blokes again.

They were probably the best thing on Radio 1 at the time. Sadly missed.

Complete Legends I think one of is still in Radio 2 or one of the other stations and the other is a DJ in the north of England , please correct me if I am wrong but they were definitely the only DJ's worth listening to .
