Is there any way I can boost the volume on my laptop...the volume control on the toolbar is at maximum, but its still pretty quiet.
And dont give me "plug in your speakers"!!!

there is no way to amp up speakers on a laptop since the amp unit is very tiny and not designed to give large speaker volume, it also dpends on the program that u r using, eg if your using winamp, u can incrase the volume to max and on the equliser increase it a bit more but this will cause the music etc to be broken up.
the best idea is what u suggested get a pair of external speakers.

double click on volume icon n increase the wave a bit.
