To you fellow US citizens out there, do you find that your passport is always stamped on return to the USA or is it sometimes not stamped with that red ink stamp.????

I'm pretty sure they're suppose to stamp your reentry to the USA;

I'm a British citizen & had my Passport stamped in the Cheers Bar in Boston Ma.

first, I'm confused by andy's comment...
second, while I've only had the opportunity to use my passport once, I was disappointed cause I didn't get it stamped in Greece, where I was visiting, only in Germany, where my layover was, and no, I didn't have the officer here in the US stamp my book. maybe different airports are more strict with their policy; that shouldn't be the case, but possibly it is.

mines has always been stamped when i come back to the US. it's been stamped also when i enter a different country.
