Statisically, they're very close, but Cleveland definitely had the better season this year and Lebron was clearly reason for that. But only because of his greater experience and 3 championships, I have to give the nod to Bryant, if only by the slightest of margins. But after three years, he's clearly ahead of Bryant's development.

People keep saying Lebron cause it's only his whatever year in the NBA. At his age Kobe already had a ring. Nuff said and if you wanna say it's just cause of Shaq look at the stats around the same age. Yeah Lebron averaged more points around the same age but you can also argue Lebron didn't have to play with Shaq. If Lebron came out of HS back then when it was still new for players to come out of HS and was playing with Shaq the coaches wouldn't have given him that many minutes either. The proof is in the eye. Kobe has better moves and better dunks and a better shot. When Lebron averages 35ppg and has 3 rings we'll have this convo again.

Lebron James, just because he's young and he's coming into the league with people depending on him ,and he's doing his job not because of the hype because he was a number one player before all the deals came along. Most of all he's being himself not trying to be another person like Kobe. He's brought his own style to the court and that just makes people love him.

once you're judging them at their cutting-edge states, then Kobe is definitely extra constructive than LeBron. he's had a lot extra experience in the NBA and is a very sensible participant. yet i imagine that LeBron will instruct to be a extra constructive participant than Kobe as he progresses. in case you seem at LeBron at age 18 vs. Kobe at age 18, LeBron is plenty extra athletic.

Kobe, he works on his game has a winning mentalty as well as a killer instinct. He is a proven scorer (81) but he has no team, you could pass the ball but if no one scores you dont get the assists.
