Well, first thing the Beatles ain't my fave band, to me & it's music it ain't written in stone, this song is about John & Paul waking up 'in the dead of night' and hearing a black man singing the Blues and that's what they tried to do! Then they went phsychadelic!

It is an allegory to the oppression, struggle and ultimate civil rights triumph of Black people, and the Blackbird is question is the symbol of this, and it shows that although oppression makes it feel like the dead of night, there is always hope, shown by the singing of the bird even though it is night
