I don't know about shave cream, but witch hazel will help with the razor burn (you can buy it in the store by the rubbing alcohol). Or if you want to buy something else, tend skin is great for razor burn and ingrown hairs.

You could have both razor burn and ingrown hairs. Ingrown hairs look like pimples and with pus. See the dermatologist to solve the ingrown hair problem. Razor burn are little red bumps. Here are some steps to reduce ingrown and razor burn.1. Always start off with a sharp blade (after about 5 shaves toss it out). 2. Exfoliate the area before you shave with a body scrub or loofah. 3. Always use shaving gel/cream for sensitive skin and rinse the blade after every stroke to keep the blade wet. 4. Moisturize with baby oil or unscented lotion after you get out of the tub/shower.
Do not go over the same area twice because that can aggravate the skin. Do not press down on the razor as you make your shaving stroke. Never shave without water and shaving gel. If red bumps are still occurring use aloe vera gel and cortisone to treat the bumps. Using depilatories like Nair or Veet on sensitive skin is a big NO. The chemicals in the products can burn the skin and leave you with a worse case of redness. Try waxing for an alternative to shaving. The results last anywhere from 3 to 8 weeks and results in softer hair re-growth. But go to a salon to have this done. Home kits are difficult and sometimes do not work.

I've seen people with them. They are just not attractive but what can you do. I kind of think it's too late cause when the hair started to grow you should of waxed. That way it removes the hair roots. I think when you shave you leave the roots in so everytime the hair starts to grow it becomes thicker and more noticeable. That's why when i first found out that I had to shave the hair on my legs I went straight to waxing although it was painful but my legs are pretty too without those bumps. I know not many people want to wax but it's the best hair removable. Rule of thumb... never shave unless you want thick hair. Now I'm so use to waxing it doesn't hurt as much... you can still try .... it might take mabe couple month to really get back to normal but its a start. Whatever you do... do not shave. Oh by the way.... same for armpits. Never shave... pluck them. ouch!!!!

Try a depilatory cream like Veet or try getting your legs waxed. DON'T use Nair; it doesn't work. These options are a bit more expensive, but they last longer than shaving and should get rid of ingrown hair problems because they both get rid of the hair down to the root. Also, before you do anything, try shaving against the grain of the hair and never shave without shaving gel for SENSITIVE SKIN and don't ever dry shave.

I suggest that you either do it right after you get out of the shower, or after you rub a lot of lotion on it. If your legs are moist or wet, it will help the razor glide along it and not make those bumps on your legs. The bumps will only go away after a while. I suggest only shaving you're legs when it gets bad, not every day. Once a week is my suggestion, after you get out of the shower in the morning.

I think this is a problem for many, so you should stop shaving and try to use hair removing creams like NAIR, or other product, and for your bumps, try to put cenestin solution (drops) after shower, before bad n avery morning, try this.

You should always shave up. Always shave the opposite way the hair grows. That is probably the problem......
