1oz of Acetone against even 1 gallon of gas in the tank and 1 gallon of gas in the lines will be so diluted that it will do nothing.

Its an old wives tale about acetone in your tank.

Fuel injection cleaner on the market is weak due to EPA regulations. Just put 2 in at at time and you will get the power of the old chemicals from the 1980's.

I don't think I would ever do something stupid like that. If your injectors are that clogged then they need to be removed and properly cleaned. If you just want preventative maintenance the gas being sold now with alcohol in it will do a good job. If you are not in an area with that kind of gas just use the old fashioned gas line anti-freeze which basically is methyl alcohol.
