You probably have low blood pressure. Stand up more slowly, sit-up first, then stand once you are not dizzy. Use caution when you bend down to also stand slowly. Always sit down and lower your head if you feel dizzy- to avoid fainting and hurting yourself.

it is postural hypotension
taken from the website
"POSTURAL HYPOTENSION

In order to understand postural hypotension, imagine the body as a column of fluid. When we’ve been lying down for a while, the column is horizontal, so the fluid pressure is equally distributed from head to toe.

When we stand up, the fluid column becomes vertical, causing the fluid pressure to increase at the bottom of the column, and fall dramatically at the top. This pressure drop must be corrected, otherwise blood flow to the brain will drop, and we'll get light-headed or pass out."

Its called orthostatic hypotension. It is when your blood pressure drops upon standing from lying or sitting. Trying sitting for a minute and slowly standing. Or taking some slow breaths before standing. If it is all the time, I would see the doctor and have your blood pressure checked.

I use to have the same problem when I was younger. It was to the point where I passed out a few times. I know it sounds lame but the Doctor told me to stand up slower. You should ask your Doctor though since not every person is the same.

It could be low blood sugar.. make sure that you are eating enough through out the day, Doctors say it's best to eat at least 6 times per day, I don't mean 6 meals....lol snack on healthy food.. for now take your time when you get up... good luck

Stand up slowly. Before you stand, sit for about 5 seconds. You may just be moving too fast.

Could also be a low Hemoglobin.. . .get that checked. Either way, worth a quick visit to your primary care doc. Easy to find the answer with a quick BP and blood work.

sometimes if we stand to quickly a feeling of dizziness can overcome us;however, if it does not fade as fast as it comes on then you may want to speak to your doctor and see if something is going on. i experienced this sometimes when i was pregnant but it was because of me getting up too quickly. like i suggested, if it does not pass, seek medical attention. i hope it gets better.
