See, I'm part of a huge adult choir where over HALF of the female psalmists (singers) are madly in love with this minister. Now, I admit that I was part of his little "harem", so to speak; however, I do indeed date and have crushes on a fellow Psalmist, the bassist and a Deacon! EVERYBODY has a very good rapport with the minister, but when I sent him a few e-mails and one e-card that I thought was cute, he informed me that he wanted things to be totally professional between us and to direct any and all questions, comments and complaints to my Choir Liasion and/or Music Administrator. I honestly didn't mean any harm; I'm afraid to go anywhere near him now. Leaving the Music Ministry and/or the church is NOT an option; I take my membership into both very seriously and plan to remain a member for life. I would just like any and all opinions and feedback from my fellow Yahoo neighbors, especially people who are, like myself, a part of a church choir. Thank you for your time and help. Luv U

I've seen this happen over and over again. I usually try not to date within an organization such as this one. It's like mixing business with pleasure. I understand the ministers position and I think he did the right thing. Also I think what you did was natural because a lot of us have dated are liked somebody within the organization they we affiliated with. So don't feel bad or be afraid him because of his response. I'll say email him once more to apologize and keep it a business like relationship from now on!
Don't forget to pray for him understand you and that the situation isn't blown out of proportion. Everything should be fine!

It doesn't sound like he hates you. It sounds like he just wants to keep your relationship professional. There is nothing wrong with that. If you are part of an adult choir, I am sure you can deal with a professional only relationship.

How do you get over him? Just get over him. It is ok to be attracted, but realize that is as far as it should ever go.

Please don't believe he hates your guts. You just got your feelings hurt. Since you didn't mean any harm just hold on to that. No harm ~ no foul. Be grateful that he directly told you how he'd like you to handle any communication in the future. Respect his wishes and the confused feelings you're having will go away. You didn't do anything wrong, but you did get re-directed. Try not to take it personally. Sing sing sing...that's why you're in the choir!

A minister with a harem...cool!!

Seems like you crossed the line. You shouldn't flirt with him. Your avatar is too cute! don't tempt him! You also seem to have a lot of crushes. calm your wandering eye and take a cold shower.

for sure it concerns. the very very last ingredient the Jewish human beings pick is the President turning adverse to them. bear in mind the perfect time the U>S> disregarded the Jewish plight 11,000,000 human beings were killed. i'm no longer Jewish yet i am going to communicate for them I under no circumstances pick some thing like that to ensue back. in case your church hates Israel it hates all Jewish human beings. i do no longer want a hater for President. also do no longer ignore his ties to Iraq lest we ignore.

It may not be anything personal. He may just want to draw a very clear line between his professional(?) and personal life.

Just tell him you are sorry if you offended him and you meant no harm and you agree that from now on your relationship should be professional.
