If I had enlisted in the armed forces and my country went to war, my moral obligation would be to fulfill the committment I made when I signed up. If I were a person who believed war was wrong, then I would have no business enlisting in the first place.

By the way, I am the proud mom of a son serving our country in the US Army.

If it was my job I signed up for willingly..then I suppose I would fight. If I was forced into it (draft) then I would probably go to jail.

Whats the difference? They both would be hell on earth. You can die in both you can eat terrible food in both ,you are away from your loved ones in both. There are rapes in both.... But I personally would fight for my country if it meant it wouldn't come to our shores. The lessor of two evils.
