YES Buffon is the greatest keeper..NO ONE could score on him. Two gaols. one was an own gaol and the other was a unjust penalty kick which cheating France got by paying off the ref's. NO other keeper could do that.

Oliver Kahn, Peter Schmeichel and most definitley Lev Yashin a.k.a The Black Spider ......... are the greatest.....Lev is the only goalkeeper to ever win the FIFA European player of the year and also was named FIFA Goal-keeper of The Century...buffon is nothing compared to the above three

but best keeper of the Tournament, maybe even the best keeper in the world at this time
Best keeper Ever would have to be Oliver Kahn, he won the Golden Boot Award in 2002, i think he is the only keeper to win it

He might be, but this World Cup I didn't see him do anything that any other goal keeper hasn't done....if anything the Italian defence stopped everything and he only had a couple of hard saves...

He is pretty good but I think Shaka Hislop saved much more dangerous attempts at goals.

yeahh...he only had one own goal that he didnt go after because he thought this team mate would kick it out not in and 1 PK. he never had anyone score on him while they were actually running with the ball...noone else can say that now.
