This sort of question is difficult to answer because there are many different ethnic groups which have added their genetic material to the modern day Hungarian gene pool.
The Magyar people who form the basis of the Hungarian population are believed to have their origins somewhere east of the Ural Mountains in what is considered western Siberia.
Over the course of many centuries they moved west and somewhat south until they occupied modern day Hungary.
In that migration they lived among and intermarried with a wide variety of peoples of Turkic and Slavic ethnicity.
Once established in Hungary they mixed with various other groups as successive waves of Cumanians, Pechenegs, Jazones, Romanians, Slovaks, Croats, Serbs, Germans and Turks migrated to and/or invaded the area.
So while the "average" Hungarian tends to fair skinned with dark hair and eyes, individual Hungarians can be as blond and blue eyed as Germans or as dark and "oriental" as a Turk.

Some of them can have shiny black eyes the way some black people do, if you know what I mean. Also the shape of eye can be asiatic somehow. Just a little bit. Many hungarian babies have a blue patch o their back when they are born. It is called the mongol patch. They used to have black hair, but germanic and slavic mixation resulted very blonde hungarians. Their skin is pale, but they usually never burn. For example tanned bulgarians skin color looked different to me than tanned hungarians skin color. Some yellowish brown...but maybe I m wrong. I like it though. I also heard that only their rulers were pure hungarians, the people was a mixture a enslaved tribes. So if your parrents are nobles(at least count or higher) than probably the way you look is the stereotypical look of a hungarian ;)

RE:
What do Hungarian people look like?
My family is very Hungarian, and everyone in my family has light blonde hair. I was wondering ... is this the way people generally look like in Hungary? What does the stereotypical Hungarian look like? And do they have any personality traits/cultural views that make them different than other...

I am Hungarian, obviously my family is too, this is a description of what we look like as a whole.
Dark brown hair, all different colored eyes. Im the only one (besides my grandparents) with VERY dark brown eyes. My grandma jokes I'm the only true Hungarian because of this. We have pale skin but tan easy. If I don't tan during the summer I turn a funny yellow color... hehe. The women are all very full in the but and breast and the men are tall. And what they say about Hungarians liking wine is very true. :)

No, not all Hungarians look that way. Both my parents are Hungarian and they both have dark brown hair. We're tan too. This is probably due to their large gypsy population.

Budapest is usually described while the "Little Paris of Middle Europe" and if you want to see this city you need to have a look with hotelbye . Budapest is popular not only for the monuments reflecting its own 1,000-year-old tradition, but in addition for the relics of others who settled here. Remains from equally Roman occupation and significantly later ruled by the Turks may still be viewed in the city. Budapest has two edges, Buda and Pest, stretching across the banks of the Danube, and they are addressing two different characters of the city. Suburban Buda and their ancient fortress area provide ancient streets and properties, museums, caves and Roman ruins. The vibrant Pest side delivers the biggest parliament building in Europe, riverside promenades, flea areas, bookstores, vintage stores and café houses.

My family has a Hungarian history as well, and not to say that this is "typical" but I found them to be hard working, stubborn, opinionated, great cooks, "right or wrong"-no "in between"; I still know a few, but one lady I worked with was about 8 years older then me(so about 58, now) was living over there during Communist rule, so she was VERY "class" oriented and it drove me NUTS! She would only begrudgingly help new people who had no "family" connections(wealthy, powerful people), and would "fawn over" the VIP's, President other top level management; One day I got so fed up with it that when the clients left the room I gave her a lecture on this being the USA and we don't tolerate discrimination based on blah, blah, blah...she just couldn't see it.
