Depends on the age. I wasn't all that much into football when I was younger (before 10 or 12), but now I am a freak about it. What changed it for me was taking me to my first Ohio State game int he horseshoe. Now I'm glued to the television on Saturday's and Sunday's in the fall. It has however led to a degenerate gambling problem and some fantasy football issues during the season, so maybe he's better off without a love for the game.

The best way to like something is to experience it. Throw the football around with him. Explain the fundamentals of the game. If he still is reluctant after that, then just lay off. If you force it on him, it will make him like it less and less, but you never know, he may grow into it. I didn't care about football till I turned 15, now I'm 19 and a football addict.

Dont mean to bust yur bubble but if your younger bro. doesnt like football.....you may not be able to change that. Hes an individual. He likes his own things! But if you want to get him into it or at least try, you could sit him down and watch some football w/ him....(quality time). Or you could go outside and throw the football around. Try to have a good time w/ it and he might become interested!!! You could even take him to a game at a highschool near you.

If he doesn't like it, he doesn't like it.
I mean, who can blame him? American football is such a lethargic sport. It's men built like tanks involved in bursts of action with long lulls in between, and the players seem to not care until THERE'S TWO MINUTES LEFT OH MY GOD AND WE GOTTA HURRY UP NOW!!!
I mean, by the game clock it's 60 minutes, but in realtime a game lasts three hours?!?
The game turns a lot of people off.

It's really hard to make you brother want to do this! It's not he's fault. I think you should respect he likes and dislikes. He is your brother right? But... If you want to know a website then NFL.com would be the best site..

HE HAS TO LIKE FOOTBALL!!!!! its the best game ever and you must force him to like it. take him to a game for some firsthand expierence. If you dont have a pro team in your state then college will do fine. football is always fun to watch and play. encourage him to go out for a team for a while to see if he likes it. If all else fails, you must shun him from society, just kidding.

Some people don't like the same things you do. Maybe instead of trying to get him to play a barbaric sport that leaves more people injured than makes millionaires, you encourage his school work, and he maybe grows up to cure cancer instead.

Football is gay. Your younger brother probably has BRAINS and wants to do something more useful in his life besides bashing other guys and slapping their ***.

So, he doesn't like football. What's wrong with that? I don't like football either.
I like MMA fights. My my sisters and my female friends think it's barbaric. I have no desire to attempt to MAKE them like it.
Leave him alone or find out what things you both like and enjoy that.
