Listen sweetie, I'm old enough to be your mom. You need to stop. You will end up being taken advantage of, manipulated, and eventually will become burned out and bitter. It's nice to lend an ear but people's problems are usually self-induced or temporary. Don't ever hurt yourself to help somebody else. It's not worth it.

Yeah - I am working two jobs and can't make ends meet, I have bill collectors threatening to take me to court and I have a dollar in my pocket till payday, also I am out of milk and bread and have two sons at home, one who doesn't work and has a learning disability. thanks for listening.
