2 words "Dropped Call". Plus there plans are expensive for the amount of minutes you get. $40 for like 400 minutes. Where are you from? There are better companies, U.S. Cellular has great plans, and their customer service rocks!

i like Alltel alot. i never get any dropped calls, and their plans are good. my partner and i have the family plan, and we pay $75/month and we pay an extra $10/month for the insurance. we have 2 phones. the free nights and weekends start @ 7 on our plan, and we get 800 anytime minutes and free mobile to mobile.

the only problem we had was my partner was living in 1 place and when we both moved, we let alltel know of our address change and they didn't do anything, and our phones got shut off, because we never got the bill. when we paid the bill, they wavered the reconnection fee because alltel made a mistake and it wasnt our fault.

From what I have heard they seem 2 be OK. Check out www.wireless-itch.com for most US cellular carriers and plans.
