Sit back and relax, this will take a while. The '94 Caprice came with several engine options, and of course there was the Impala SS. The usual engine was the 305 (5.0L). It got pretty good gas mileage for a big car but was a dog. There were also some that left the factory with the 4.3L in them, and then the Police Package was available for fleet service. The police package had the corvette engine, bigger tranny, and a lot other goodies. I think you could order a 350 (5.7L) in some applications. Anyway, the thing is the engine will fit and bolt to the existing motor mounts, transmission, etc.The fun then starts...the computer, wiring and most of the sensors from the 'vette must be transplanted and you will need to find a dual exhaust cross-over support because the factory instalation was a single exhaust. Oh, did I mention the rear end? Can't put a positraction unit, the whole axle housing, etc. has to go and you may as well swap out the drum brakes on the back for disks while you're spending some bucks. Don't forget to lose the 400R transmission, it will not stand the strain. So, to answer your question; the 'vette motor will fit. It's the rest of the stuff that's a hassle.

you don't have to do hardly any modifications to it all you might have to do is change the positions of the accessories if you can recall in 1994 caprice and its sister the impala came factory with a ls1 5.7ltr (350)cubic inch and in 1994 the impala ss came with the corvette mtr which is the ls1 5.7 ltr ho so to answer your question it is yes.
