I mean if you make any generalizations to make a valid point, suddenly you're a cruel, outspoken racist. I made my question about black rappers because 'they are' black rappers that specifically aim to encourage black youth.

I know there are extremely educated and successful black people and there are very low-life white people etc, but I see more black rappers on tv more than any other race encouraging the ghetto message. I'm not a fan of that because I know they could do better, say more, and encourage substantial and beneficial perspectives.

I'm not racist, my mom is black and my dad is asian so don't throw out 'white boy' stuff.

Some groups are way more sensitive than others. Too often blacks see a criticism of rap music as an attack on all blacks. They will then defend their right to rap music even though they personally don't like it. It's too bad that there is such a group mentality that prevents people from expressing their own opinions without fear of retribution. All I see on TV is the gangster lifestyle and the degradation of women. I'd like to think that most black people aren't that way but it is really hard without seeing the other side. I wish more people would take a stand against that drivel being their culture and prove to the rest of the world what they are really like.

BTW, the rappers don't care what message they are sending as long as the checks keep coming.

Yea, they are. People really need to grow up. It's like how most african americans use the word n!ggar refering to eachother its okay but then when people of other race use it it's offensive...give me a break

I'm white and Irish, and a rabid anti-racist, and pretty much agree completely.
