I liked it, and so did my 6 year old. But the Danny Elfman's wonderfully monstrous music and the scenes of sea-stars pursuing then devouring other creatures were surprisingly scary, especially on that huge movie screen. I wouldn't have taken my daughter at 2 1/2.

it is an incredible film. and i really think you 2.5 year old will like it because its not that long and its really intriguing. i think they will really dig it.
