We like men who care about us more than the TV, to be honest. We want our men to be macho, tough, jerks at times and quiet and sweet at others. We do NOT like feminine metro-sexual guys, at least most of us don't. We want a man who will forget our birthday once in a while, but bring us flowers in the middle of October for no apparent reason at all. And me? Well, I like the fact that my man treats me like I'm the queen of the world.

I'm 50 years of age and have had many relationships through the years and, I never hung around men too much because my closest "friends" have always been women. I think from my own experience that the majority of women like a man who is very sensitive and in tune with their (the womans') deeper inner feelings without saying a word. Most men are (and I say this with experience) out-of-tune or nearly completely blind to the real issues deep within a womans' heart. Most women are beautiful and highly sensitive, and the majority of men are comletely...or nearly completely...blind to the real issues that are important to women. If a man takes time, gets his eyes off of "himself" and really looks deeper into the eyes of the woman he is with...he will find treasures there that he never knew existed. Most men (and even husbands) say that their "best friend" is another man that he may have grown-up with through the years, or maybe another relative or family member. But the truth is, the "best friend" that he could have or ever will have...if he takes the time to notice...is the woman in his life. The closest friends I have ever had have always been women...and no, I am not gay...and although other male friends are "good" friends...you can never have a more dearer friend, than that woman who is standing by your side. She would be willing to die for you (and you for her), if your friendship is truly right. (friend to friend). Most people don't understand that, if you truly have even ONE true friend in life...then you have found the treasure of your life.

Tough, Sweet, Funny, Good-Looking, Strong, Not Serious, Outgoing, Want something to do with their life: the good qualities in a guy. We hate guys who try to act macho and think they know-it-all.

CONFIDENT, STRONG, EXCITING AND A GOOD PROVIDER. That is what most women are really looking for in a man; all the other stuff is just icing. It would be nice if we honestly wanted the sweet, intelligent and faithful type of man but civilization can not destroy thousands of years of evolution geared toward survival of the species.

Women like men who respect them, treat them as ladies, are fun loving and gentle. It doesn't matter if they are tough, rockers, sweet and quiet or in the middle. It is the way they treat you and a pleasant personality. Personally I always fell for a great smile.

I think something in the middle. I don't want someone who is a jerk to people all the time...and definately not feminine. But someone who treats me well, is loving...will stand up for me if I need him to....
