I have minor scratches on the fairing, and was wondering if a quick fix exists.

It doesnt matter if your bike is new or used.... You can goto the dealer and give them the info about your bike... They can order the original touch up paint for you.. I did it, and it cost me under 10 bucks...

Depending on how deep the scratches are, you can use some rubbing compound to blend them in. You can then just add layer upon layer of wax over it to form a protective layer. That's your quick fix. Some polishes come "color enhanced" and you can check those out at your local parts store.

It also depends on whether it has gone through the clear coat or not; that can make it harder to repair.
