Burning CD Problem?

I want burn a CD through Windows Media Player 9 with a new DVD-RW on my PC and after the first song gets to 100% then the it says closing CD for the other songs

can it be the DVD-RW or maybe the Windows Media Player?

i wouldnt use rw for music cd.
rw are only designed for data, i would advise using standard cd's.
