How do you answer the interview question what are you weaknesses?

You could talk about an aspect of your job that you don't have a lot of experience in, then quickly follow with, "but I am looking forward to strengthening that area..."

Or you could say, sometimes I'm too much of a perfectionist, then BS through the follow up questions to that. ;-)

I think you should expose the weakness to the interviewer along with your plan of attack on said weakness.

honestly. I have just got a new job with old navy as general manager, and i had that question a couple of time. Answer it honestly, that what they are looking for. How honest is this person who might work for me? Companies want honest employees and if you cannot be honest to them about yourself then they will not hire you. Tell them what areas you need improvment in. nobody is perfect and they know that

Turn your weakness into a strength....like you could say, "some times i tend to be a perfectionist, when i know nothing is perfect or something like that do you get what i mean?

i HATE that question... but i will normally says my weakness is that i could be pretty shy or quite at the beginning since i don't know anyone in the company, however once I feel comfortable then i could be very outgoing..

you're not meant to give any. turn it round and give a strength as weakness i.e. i am too organised or I am a workaholic. that's how you answer it.
