How many people actually have a webcam?

and out of those that do have one, how many actually use it?

It seems like nobody has a cam; yet i see them getting bought in the shops. Are webcams like expensive cook books; you buy them, stick them on a shelf, but never actuallu use them?

I have a web cam and I use it as often as I want to. I usually only let people I know in real life watch it but occasionally I'll let someone I'm talking to on-line watch it. Nothing exciting, just me sitting at the computer.

There are several cases where people buy things they dont really need. I myself have a webcam but I dont use it on the internet. In the past I have used it for surveilance of my room however when I was living in a shared house and my door didn't have a key.

well, my mobile phone and my digital camera can both be used as webcams yet i went out and bought a webcam which has sat in the cupboard for months and never even been out the box,
so yeah, it is like a cook book.

I have one, I use it every day. I have loved ones where the cam online is the only way we see each other :) Plus, I think making friends online, it's always better to see them and let them see me. You can tunderstand a lot more about their text when you see a face. :)

I do have a webcam and use it every day. I have relatives and friends who we get in touch and see each other by the advanced technology of internet .

i do, i got one, then moved and lost it, so i got another one, so of course the old one showed up, so now i have 2, but i'm going to give one to my mom. besides, they only cost about $20 usd to begin with. i use mine each week
